From a 5 star rated James Halliday winery 2012. The 2010 Caspia Rose is a very versatile wine that can be enjoyed at any time of the year as an aperitif, or with a wide variety of food styles. Brilliant pale pink in colour and aromas of ripe strawberry and a whiff of pineapple on the nose. The palate has strawberry/cheery sweetness, with raspberry flavours that mingle with pineapple like fresh acidity, and long lingering ripe fruit flavours on the finish, and only 8.5 Alc.
