From a 5 star James Halliday rated winery 2011. With grapes sourced from the Pemberton and Manjimup regions of Western Australia, the 2009 Truffle Hill Shiraz is deep red with great clarity in colour. A bouquet thats very intense, with layered complex aromas of dark berry, plum, vanilla and earthy hints, following onto a palate thats soft and juicy, with generous ripe plum, spiced mulberry fruits and fresh seductive oak that adds complexity and richness. Its mouth filling, with structure and great depth of flavour, dark chocolate and dark berry flavours that linger to the last drop.
