Wine can not be delivered to persons under 18 years of age.
Delivery Time
Each order will be processed within 24 hours of placement. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and can be expected within metropolitan areas between 7 – 10 working days and in regional areas allow up to 14 working days. We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery time or date.
Delivery Instructions
You have the option to authorise the contractor to leave your order at the nominated address without a signature. You may choose this option just in case no one will be on the premises to accept delivery. Keep in mind, if such authority is given, WineXpress nor Australia Post or other delivery contractors can be held responsible should your delivery go missing.
If you are not present at the time of delivery and no authority has been given to leave the consignment without a signature, it will be returned to your local post office for collection. A delivery notification card will be left in your letter box by the driver.
If the person accepting the delivery is deemed, by the driver, to be under 18 years of age photo identification will be requested. If they are under the legal age or unable to provide suitable proof of identification, the driver will advise them that the delivery will be carded to the local Post Office for collection by a person of legal age.
If the person taking delivery is unable to provide proof of age identification and the order contains delivery instructions / authority to leave the article without a signature, legally the delivery can not be left. A delivery notification card will be provided and the item(s) will be taken to the local Post Office for collection by a person of the legal age limit.
Due to security reasons, Australia Post or other delivery contractors can not accommodate additional delivery requests or instructions, outside of what you are currently offered.
Sometimes, due to OH&S, delivery instructions can not be followed. Whilst this does not occur very often, for the safety of the driver and for legal reasons, the delivery will not be left. In such circumstances the parcel will be taken to your local Post Office and a delivery notification card will be left in your mail box for collection of the item(s).
Deliveries will not be left outside the boundary of your property.
Incorrect Delivery Details
If you provide incorrect delivery details, the items will be returned to WineXpress. A fee of $10.00 per case will be applied to resending the order.
Delivery into Alcohol and Dry Areas
Some areas of Queensland have been identified as Dry Areas, this means Alcohol can not legally be taken into these areas. WineXpress and our couriers will not deliver to the following postcodes;
