| Campbell Mattinson, Wine Front says: "brand to watch, excellent wines at excellent prices." from a James Halliday 45 star rated winery 2012 and from the winery that won the 2009 International Riesling Challenge for the Best Riesling in the World. The 2008 Cardinham Cab Merlot is Estate grown from the Clare Valley SA, being 60% Cab and 40% Merlot. In the glass, its a full bodied red with deep purple colours and aromas of violets lifting from good old mums Christmas cake. Berries and brambly blackberries, leading to a palate thats mouth filling, soft and round, with lip smacking flavour of blackberries, blackcurrants, mulberries, plums and a hint of liquorice. Smooth silky tannins will keep bringing you back for more. Delightful with flame grilled meats and salads. |

The 2008 Cardinham Chardonnay is pale straw and bright in the glass with peach and apricot, layers of stone fruit, spring floral tones with a palate that is of forward fruit flavours. Balanced with body, stone fruit in abundance, being a generous clean refreshing style that lingers on the palate.
