| The Story: The Buller family is well known and highly respected in North East Victoria, and Beverford is the location of their second winery established in 1952. The Beverford 2009 Durif closely follows the style of previous vintages. Opaque crimson and purple in colour, and aromas of spicy blackberry, prunes, with nuances of liquorice and sweet herbs. The palate displays sleeping blackberry, intertwined with cherry and plum, its mouth feel is velvety, as drying tannins balance the robust fruit. It has weight and great length of dry blackcurrant flavours. |
