From a James Halliday 5 star rated winery 2009. The Beverford Shiraz represents their "house style" wine, insofar as it shows consistency back over many vintages. This Shiraz is from very old, sixty year vineyards, offering dark cherry, plum and sweet peppery toast, finishing with great length. A great wine year in year out. |

Buller Beverford 2008 Shiraz |
|
| The Story: |
| The Buller family is well known and highly respected in North East Victoria, and Beverford is the location of their second winery established in 1952. The Beverford 2008 Shiraz is deep crimson in colour and complex aromas of dark cherry, plums with sweet peppery toast. The palate is medium to full bodied, flavours of sweet plum and cherry with rich fruitcake and mocha. The tannins are beautifully integrated with persistant length, long and smooth. |
