From a 5 Star rated James Halliday Winery 2012. The first appeal of this Brokenwood wine is the perfect colour, being a bright green yellow, with aromas that feature the apricot of Viognier, and the blossom and peach characters of Roussanne following through to a palate that is rich in mouth feel, and tropical stonefruit flavours on the finish. |

| The Story: Established in 1970, from the three founding partners, Brokenwood has grown to a large and successful partnership (or merry band) of like minded souls, sharing the love of good wine. The Indigo vineyard at Beechworth seemed the logical place to grow grapes from these Mediterranean styles as they have a pungency and savouriness that is perfect for the Australian climate. |
