Winner of 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals the Blewitt Springs 2008 Grenache comes from a vineyard on the coastal side of the McLaren Vale, in the area known as Tatachilla. Deep brick red, with aromas of spicy cherry, plums and raspberries, and the complexity on the nose is increased by the subtle presence of American and French oak from maturation in new and older puncheons. The fruit flavours are juicy with a well rounded medium bodied palate.
